Honestly... I work from 11AM through until 3AM with about an hour off for dinner... It's seriously hardcore, but I love my work and I'm blessed to be in a position to make this my living.

@kurtt1129 He's raising the bridge at one end whilst the guitar is feedbacking. This raises the pitch of the strings closest to that side of the bridge creating a slight dissonance (The clashing of the pitches you can hear).

You wouldn't wanna do this mid song though! ;)

So where do I purchase the full content of these lessons? The sites I've tried seem to be in transition. You explain modes the best.

I love them, every single album was amazing

@dieandgoaway Because that particular model is a baritone guitar. It has a 27" scale neck which makes it easier to tune down. These guitars are usually in B standard from the start.

@RobChappers I was going to ask the same question about the screwdriver. I don't understand your answer. What is actually the action?

As a music fan you really need sub genre classifications so you can find out about bands you might like by reading reviews and even just descriptions of music you might like in distro's and what not. In the last couple years I think it's become problematic because a lot of people get information about metal from blogs and Tumblr and what have you, and the person writing about the music is actually pretty new to metal so the reader spreads the misinformation. It's really Ok though because if you're not sure about a band/genre now you can just effortlessly listen to the music online. When I first got into metal you had to mail order everything. So you'd finally get the CD you'd been waiting for in the mail and it might totally not be your thing! I think that's primarily what caused metal to have all the small sub genre classifications. It was the metal press trying to give styles names so people would know what they were talking about. Back then when I bought music 90% of the time it was without ever hearing the band. We had to become experts on all the sub genres. Just a thought.

Straight into the Orange mate, if I ever use a pedal I always say and list it in more info :-)

Is the distortion coming from just the amp? Or are you using an overdrive as a boost?
Also, for some one who cannot afford an Orange, is there an alternative you would recommend?

@RobChappers umm is that a special guitar or smth?
or is it just the pedal itself that allows to perform such sounds?

anyway, i am planning on buying an electric guitar
i want a really-really violent one
but is it the pedal or the guitar which are important in making such a sound?

@austinthefreak i was in a band and we played in drop-a, it was a little too muddy sounding on a 6 string because the pickups wearn't meant to pick up notes that low. you also would most likely have to get strings with a low a being at least a 58 gauge. i would only use it if you have a 6 string set up perfectly for it or if you have a 7 string. but i agree if you have the right setup, it sounds amazing

@brux559 Yeah I understand. I only use drop-A with my Ibanez Gio... Idk how but for some reason it sounds normal on that guitar without a special setup. With my other guitars I use drop B or standard tuning.

@MattyPS
Its how far away the string is from the fretboard.

Well, technically the minor second is an interval but there are chord such as E5sus m2 that utilize the minor second interval

@B3LTRAN89
It's an add 9 chord, and you make by basically just adding another 5th over the 5 in the chord.
