At first I was like "THIS IS JUST A SCAM TO MAKE US WATCH IT! IT'S PROBABLY A PICTURE."

Then I was like... "holy mother of llamas"

Hi guys, I get many questions about the materials. Under every video I have a list of all of the materials in the description box. The white 'smudger' is a blending stump it's for blending graphite to create a smooth effect. If you don't have one you can use a q-tip or maybe a small make-up applicator. For the bigger areas I use a soft tissue. The pencil eraser is from Faber-Castell perfection 7056, if you don't have one you can cut off a small piece of your eraser and use the sharp edges or corner to erase fine details. For the brightest highlights I use a white Uni Posca, this is an acrylic marker with a 0.7mm tip. If you don't have one you could use a white gel pen or some acrylic paint with a small brush. I hope this helps! Thanks for watching :)

It was such a great tutorial I am 13 yrs old and I have drawn the whole drawing without any tools only with a shading pencil, eraser, white marker and then blended the rest with my hands and it had turned out very beautiful. Thank you very much for the drawing tutorial ❤️😘

Sometimes YouTube videos teach us more stuff than a real teacher does. Respect from one artist to another!

Drawing isn't hard, it just requires a little technique. Most of the things that block you from drawing well, are in your head rather than in your hands. This is a great video for showing technique such as keeping your drawing clean using tracing paper, working from white to dark in layers, using tortillions or blending sticks to smooth out strokes and blend shades, and working with small adjustments. Make something too dark, or too white, its easy to fix by blending around it so it matches. The hard part is that initial sketch where you map out where to put what, and where you are going to make dark parts, and where you are going to make highlights. A very good book to help you figure out how to un-twist your mind so you can draw what you see is "Drawing on the right side of the brain" by Betty Edwards. She teaches you how to deal with the cognitive dissonance as your right and left hemispheres battle to see shades with no meaning, and labels and meaning with no shades.
