I had a relaxer 11 years or so ago. I would never think to go back to it cause im just used to not having it, BUT I still don't shade ladies who DO use relaxers. Its pretty, your hair looks healthy, and its giving glamourous. I love this for you. ❤❤

It's really all about proper hair care. I have been relaxed since 1980 (13yrs old) ...good ol fashion shampoo and good conditioning and steamer...roller set...trims or layered cute cut.. BODY BODY BODY...KEEP IT MOVIN!!!!

I’ve been relaxed for 15 years and I recently decided to go natural. As my hair grows I started to notice it take just as long as if I was natural except I had to be more careful because it’s more fragile obviously because it’s relaxed. Just didn’t make sense to continue. Through being relaxed I’ve also learned how to care for my hair both the natural new growth and the relaxed hair. I’m finally ready to be natural and I’m happy that I’ve finally come to this point. This is what’s worked for me for years and I came to my own conclusions about making a change when it no longer benefitted me. Even now that I’m transitioning, I notice there are things that work for me that the natural hair community would frown upon. I say this to say do what works for you PERIOD. whether you’re natural or relaxed or in between. Listen to your hair and respond accordingly. Healthy hair comes in many forms. Just so you. ❤
