I lost a good but dishonest stylist who always used the professional relaxers on my hair until one day I saw she purchased a box relaxer from the Dollar Store for my touch up. I was paying her $80 to $100 to relax my hair.

Girl I have been self relaxing with no lye silk elements sensitive scalp forever and now it’s discontinued and hard to find. I have one box left and I scooped up hawiiaian silky no lye as a desperation. I use aphogee one every three weeks and I deep condition every two weeks. My hair is lower midback length and thick. It’s a job to maintain and the only reason it grows is because I use roux porosity control conditioner mixed in my deep conditioner.

Very Good explaining in the differences of these two. I'm sure you've heard of the hair relaxer called phytospecific. It is claimed to be a natural hair relaxer and safer than the other too. Eventhough i know there is still a chemical in it, i think its guanidine carbonate, but the directions says a person is to mix it with mushroom and whatever else natural ingredients in the formula that isn't like calcium hydroxide.

Hello. This is my first time watching your channel. I have a few questions: I was diagnosed with scarring alopecia last year and I have relaxed my hair at home, specially using the ORS relaxer. I have thinning and a few bald areas 😢 my question is if the professional relaxer has lye in it, how it formulated to be for a sensitive scalp? And do you have any suggestions for possibly growing my hair back? Thank you. I was just about to go and buy an ORS relaxer.😕😕😕

Where do I buy the professional one and why would it be legal to sell it if it's permanently damaging over time? Also the relaxer is only applied to NEW hair not hair that was already treated so essentially you're only using it 1x on your hair as it's only used on newly grain hair each treatment

But thats what the neutralizer and chelating shampoos are for right? Does it make a difference if you let your neautralizing shampoo sit in your hair for a few minutes?
