I was a person who used 1080p all the time and it was all i knew. I recently upgraded to a 1440p 144hz panel and the textures are the thing i noticed right away. If you want ro save money do not upgrade to 1440p or you will be spending more money each time you upgrade. I cant go back to 1080p

its true that small screens feel smoother than big ones at same refresh rate, ive done this test multiple times and 60hz on small one looks like 75

put it like this, stretched res 720p on a laptop which has 1080p recommended res will give you an insane fps boost.

I mean for the same price a smaller monitor typicaly has a higher refresh rate too, but yeah you can just override your settings and run a massive monitor at the same resolution.

A smaller one can still feel smoother tho and switching to a higher pixel rate can also reduce a cpu bottleneck if you have one and that could lead to more fps and more stable fps

You can get a 4k monitor and use 1080p resolution so buying a larger monitor with higher resolution won't affect your fps in a bad way.

I have a 34 inch 144hz 1440p I use for most games and a 27 inch 340hz 1080p monitor I use for fps games like cod and csgo. There’s def a difference

Basicly if your pc is medium budget and want a big monitor, go for a more than 27" 1440p, if its low budget dont go over 24" cuz 1080p on a big monitor looks very pixelated
