Thank you for the vid, very informative, although at 4:53 -20 + 22 equals positive 2, not negative.

shouldnt it be cofactor of ith row and cofactor of ith column? instead of column and row... since a(ij) refers to ith row and jth column

Okay. The examples kinda helps. I was confused by those formulas. As to. What exactly are we trying to achieve here. Also, there are so many ways, even simpler ways of getting the determinant I don't understand why this way is particularly important
