My daughter sings your song. she sent it to me and it sent chills down my spine. She sings it very well. I listened to it several times and like the mother I am, I took it literally. I wept as I felt some of the lines hit more nerves than a bad tooth. I called her after some time only to learn it was your song. Well, the laugh was on me. The story is that I felt she owned this song in how it was that she sang it with so much feeling. I have always listened to her singing around the house. I always tell her she sings very well. Today I called her from China and she tells me the original singer of the song heard her. Well, she is my legend and she is talented beyond comprehension and I would be honoured if she could sing it with you one day.
