every year around my birthday one of my depressive episodes happens. And this year it was kind of better.

I told how my birthday usually goes to one of my long-distance friends, with whom, despite it being short, I've had a rocky relationship. They hurt me really bad a couple of times and always as I was ready to let them go, came back to me. Still don't know why I stuck around..

But on my birthday, they made me feel okay. They showed they cared and I thought that was a good sign. Now we both seem to be in bad places mentally and I feel that we're slowly drifting even further apart.

This song was released on my birthday and it means so much to me finding it now. It's as if it predicted how things are gonna go for us :(
