Description: "In the world of Galecrest, sky pirates set sail on the winds in search of adventure, treasure, and glory. As an admiral, you command a vast and varied crew...but so do your rivals sailing other ships in the pirate fleet. Each day the fleet lands on a different island where you'll send a crew member to collect your share of the loot, hoping they'll return to boost your growing group of characters.

Libertalia was originally released in 2012. Ten years later, Libertalia: Winds of Galecrest celebrates the foundations of the original design with a revised and expanded edition that includes all-new art, 40 characters per player, a reputation system to resolve tiebreakers, deluxe loot tokens, a robust solo mode, and much more."

Stonemaier's latest, the reprint/re-theme of Libertalia. What do I think of it and will it be the first Stonemaier game to stay in my collection?
Thanks for watching!

Just played this last night and loved it. Would be cool to see stonemaier dive into more reimplementations of out of print games.

Have the original version and as good as this sounds dont see a reason to grab this one. I love Libertia and it's great at 4+. If I didnt own it already i would gladly buy this one

I have the original game. While I like the original art better, I think the new version is better in a number of ways. If I didn't have the original I would be buying this new version without hesitation.

I'm not a Stonemaier fan either. Their games look good production-wise, but of the 2 I played; Scythe is ok but not amazing, and Tapestry is a mess. I've not played either version of this one yet so the art doesn't bother me in any way.
