Touching Lava With Bare Hands - EXPLAINED

This guy tricked the whole world into thinking he's some kind of super human, but actually he uses a very clever trick. First he removes his glove and shows his hand to the camera. Then he starts slapping the lava with his bear hand, without getting hurt. You see, what the doesnt show on camera is that his hand is actually coated in watter and this is called the Leidenfrost Effect. The liquid metal is significantly hotter than the boiling point of water which causes a constant layer of vapor to form between his hand and the hot metal. So his skin never actually makes contact with the boiling metal in the first place.
