‘After styling interiors for a decade, I finally got to create my dream home’

Amira had been renting a flat in the heart of Notting Hill for several years when she started her search for a period property to buy in London. What started as a tired two-bedroom, two-storey house with a closed-off kitchen, has become a vibrant three-bedroom home with three bathrooms, with an extra floor at the top. She was determined to put her own spin on a traditional Victorian house conversion and wanted her home to reflect her passion for the colours of the Mediterranean.

Before and after? Think I must have blinked and missed the before part, all I really noticed was a very brief multicoloured tiled bathroom 'picture' and possibly one other 'picture'

I don't understand why people place dining tables in part of the house that has most light, usually by large windows or bifolds looking over the garden. Personally, I place a nice big sofa there so that we lounge or work and enjoy the light in the dark winter months.

All fake... Don't know if I could afford a house, to spending a fortune on doing it up. I'm not that stupid, but I'm sure you will fool at lot of people.

Well, I'm glad she likes it, personally it's not my thing. Why on earth do people insist on having a kitchen/living/dining room all in one ???? All it means is that you 'enjoy' dinner all night and maybe into tomorrow too !?!?!?! How utterly ridiculous is that.

For as long as I can remember people continue to use pale insepid colours. Off white .magnolia. cream. Haven't a people got the guts to put some colour on their walls or anywhere for that matter.iv got 4 bedrooms and it's mid terrace a d I can guarantee there isn't white anywhere
