*To everyone still lacking clearance on this:* Returning the old state of the game would not bring back the same joy you felt in the past. The player base would remain just as sweaty. The only thing that would bring back that old nostalgic feeling of the game, would be physically traveling back in time to when the game was in it's prime. Fortnite will sadly never be able to revert back to what it used to be, no matter what epic tries to do, it will never be the same.

The nostalgia of Fortnite will always be just that. Everyone misses when the skill gap was lower and people hadn't figured out what was actually possible in this game. Now, we can't go back to those memories. The old map can come back, but people will still sweat. Fortnite is what it is now, for better or for worse.

Man, I swear this game was hella fun back in 2017/18. Seasons 1-7 were my favorites, but after that I just loss the interest in this game. Which is sad, because it was awesome :(

I'm going to be honest. The one thing that completely ruined this game, and was actually one of the funnest things theyve added but at the same time, terrible, is creative/playground. It gave these kids the opportunity to just not even play games, but just grind for hours on their building... And this created a HUGE skill gap in the game.... If anyone wanted to start playing FN now for the first time, it would be hard, it would be frustrating, and it would be almost impossible. They went too "competitive" when they introduced creative. People got sooo good soooo quick... And me having a full time job and a family, I dont want to spend hours grinding in creative. I wanted to just play the BR and have fun... But me doing that, I was only keeping myself behind everyone who grinded in creative lmao.

Been playing since the day after Christmas in 2017. Right during the middle of the Christmas update. I miss playing it with my friends so much. It’s all a burning memory now ❤️

These people that saved these old seasons should just make a game that has like the first 5 seasons and you can pick what season you would want to play.
