Sometimes the last update it will make some trouble with the equinox so if you feel that only you should return to the first software.

Honestly it's pretty cool that the Equinox can be updated to hit additional frequencies! Be interesting to see how the 10 x 5 or 14 x 9 coils respond to this frequency. I'm a laymans, learning about detecting somewhat recently, but some machines get more ID stability with a slight change in frequencies. Might only be another quarter inch of extra depth compared to 5kHz, but it may bring some ID stability where the 5kHz might have struggled.

Sometimes the software is glitches when running by saying that the nox cannot be found, the workaround is when you run the updater, at the same time connect the program lead from the PC to the nox. If you time it right it will find the nox, otherwise rinse and repeat.
