This makes me feel much better about farming JML first. I'm slowly getting shards of Leia's marquee characters in the background while I relic for JML, so Leia won't be far away after that

In all honesty one of these 4 are all good options for a first GL. SEE, SLKR, Jabba, and Leia.
SEE is really easy to obtain as most of his reqs are something you want to have at relics for one thing or another reason like Assault Battles, and Executor, he has lots of overlaps into other GLs plus also being the best GL in Proving grounds if you have malak/Wat.
SLKR is one of the best offensive GLs while also being another one of the easiest GLs to obtain and also leading you into Executor as you need its ships to get the finalizer.
Jabba is the defensive powerhouse while taking different Reqs from JML Executor Leia, also has his own special event that will gives mods mats that otherwise will take time to acquire.
Leia has some of the best Requirements in the game giving you part of a CLS team which has been a testament to time from beginning to endgame players having uses, gives you 3 Ewoks at relics which you need to unlock C-3PO for the Jabba/JML journeys, gives you Crex which will take your early game Phoenix team and give you an endgame powerhouse that will last till the end of time. She also has her own event which can land you some omicrons and extra zetas.
If I had to pick one of these as a new player it’d have to be Leia as it will give you some requirements into Jabba and JML which will both give more assault battle teams while also giving you then a choice to go for Executor or profunity or both even. It doesn’t give you much for the new raid unfortunately but basing a farming path on a temporary raid just isn’t worth it just farm one or two teams along the way that will give you a good score and you and your guild will be happy with that.
Now this is assuming staying ftp if you’re spending money on LSBs farm whatever they give you

I went SEE (too easy) -> JML (conquest dominance) and now JMK since I’ve unlocked CAT for absolute dominance. Of course I also went for Exec and Profun so that I can be ultra competitive in all game modes and dominate the galaxy. Has worked well so far ha. I love your suggestion though. Leia, Jabba, JML can be really nice to start with. Alternatively, SLKR is still pretty dope as well. Just anyone except Lord Vader and JMK for first GL, is a really good choice.

I agree with you Nooch, I followed yours and AP's advice a while back it just makes sense. F2P 2.7GP Leia will be my first GL well on the way. CLS team nearly all relic.

I think it has to be jabba. Getting your mods rolling is so much more important than the minimal stuff you get from EE3

These videos have definitely helped me out with some direction on my account. Only 2-3 months into the game and I’m pretty close to getting Leia. I appreciate the insight on this Leia farm leading into JML and Jabba, which will be next, in that order for me. A month or two ago, you said Leia was a good first GL, and that sent me in what I think is the right direction, glad to see I’m still on the right track.

There are two what I call triangle GL/SSD farms. First do SLKR/SEE/Executor. Then do JML/Jabba/Leia. They bleed into each other seamlessly. In between the triangles do either Leviathan or Profundity. Doing this will give you 2 SSDs and 5 GLs. If you bought the LSBs you can also do a quick grab for Rey. That would only leave the last SSD, New Ahsoka, mood swing Anakin and High Ground Kenobi to do.

My first two were Kylo then Rey with the LSBs, but my next will be Jabba into Leia into JML! Even without the LSBs Jabba just makes so much sense after Exec. It’s a little bit of a stretch but it gives so much long term with the mod game that never goes away

It has got to be SLKR, the main reason is because he's easy to get but more importantly can clear most of the proving grounds to get conquest characters as soon as you hit 4mgp! These characters are the most crucial in the game

I’m a returning player that recently just got SEE. I think for fun I might go Ashoka even though JML is close.

I have CLS and I’m about to have both revans and Malak next. Then GAS so I think I’m in a good enough spot to go for ahsoka even though it’s not practical

Taking into account the learning and familiarization curves for SWGOH, I think SLKR might be the better first choice for most. But def concur on Leia immediately after.

SLKR, he is really versatile. Easy DR, Malek, and malgus counter for earlier game players that don't have CAT. Far easier requirements. SLKR is the Goat
