SPACE:1999 Power Station

This video is inspired by the awesome set used as the nuclear generating area in the Space:1999 episode "Force of Life." The episode however showed this nuclear power plant placed almost in the center of the base - it would be safer if it was located at a remote location - as depicted here, and again, using the Eagle pods as building blocks.

Excellent work! Why the series was never rebooted or reimagined is beyond me but lives in the mind of brilliant internet creators like you. Using the season 1 soundtrack makes it even more nostalgic.

Why this show is not rebooted is really beyond me. It is the first show to have a killer-sci fi theme (seasons 1 & 2) and damn... those eagles, the transporter, moon-base alpha. There was nothing like it before this show came along which still looks cool to this very day.

Beautiful! Simply beautiful. For devotees of the show, such as myself who grew up with it, I must say your rendering is both fabulous, and true to the source material. I really enjoyed the updated look while keeping the same feel. As a power plant engineer, this one struck a particular chord with me. I wish I worked in a place as nice as this! Hallucinatory and haunting. The Space 1999 interiors have to be some of the most compelling science fiction spaces on film. A strange Anglo-Italian design universe. There is something disturbing about them, these endless white corridors. Some of that is from Kubrick, I think. They are also somehow completely believable.

Great work...! I love how you updated certain items like displays to be modern, while still keeping the style of the 70's show. Not only does it all look great, it "Feels" like Space:1999. I am sure all of the original artists of the show would be really happy to see this.

Really Nice work great use of colours and also sound effects and music, it looks Realistic in the sense that it could actually be done with the technology we got today.The Sets and Models of Space1999 were just AWESOME and so was the show itself especially Season 1

Ye, gods, my man. This was fantastic. It looked, sounded, and felt like an old '70s era set ... but not in a cheesy, low-budget way. Absolutely loved it, esp. the way you tied in the quick-cut method to the intro theme. Nicely done. This is an IP someone needs to bring back, goofy premise though it was. Make it a moon of Jupiter or something.
