Does Alastor have a Lazy Eye in Hazbin Hotel?

Did you notice this in Hazbin Hotel?

Since the full release of the show fans have been theorising that alastor has a lazy eye. Let me explain.

So if you look carefully at any frame of alastor, you’ll notice his eyes rarely ever look exactly at the same location, especially his left eye. It’s the kind of detail that once you notice it you’ll never unsee it.

Some people have speculated that this is just an animation error, but personally i think it happens too many times for it to not be deliberate.

Alastor having a lazy eye would explain a couple things, like why he wears a monocle. Deer are also well known for having poor depth perception and struggle to focus on specific locations with both eyes. So perhaps alastor’s deer traits is why he has this lazy eye.

Non-symmetrical eyes are also a really useful artistic cue to indicate that a character is insane, mischievous, or otherwise chaotic, which definitely fits his character even if it's not related to a disability

I noticed, but I figured it was just a quirk of the animation or to show like how unhinged he can be underneath his gentlemanly controlled guise, but in like a subtle way?
But the lazy eye explanation in addition to the monocle would make a lot of sense too!

Fun fact: deers have AMAZING hearing to make up for their bad eyesight, they can hear sounds you don’t even know you make according to google, so this means he can probably hear everything in whichever room he’s in.

Lazy eyes tend to be more noticeable than, "the eye is slightly crooked when looking in certain directions" its usually there all the time
