The BEST WAY to clear the corruption / evil biomes ( Terraria 1.4.4 )

Thanks my terraria video! The evil biomes are something that everyone eventually has to deal with in their terraria worlds, and with the new good riddance achievement, we now have another reason to purify their worlds. The 1.4.4 update also added two new items which make doing this hard task a lot easier, which are the terraformer and the biome sight potion. In this video, I go over my guide to clearing the corruption / evil biomes in terraria 1.4.4

I'm playing on a large world right now from scratch, by the time I'm able the beat the moonlord and upgrade the clentaminator i think the only viable strategy is to dig hellevators every 170 tiles to give room for error and just fall down spraying one direction and fall down spraying in another direction. that way the reach of the terraformer should have gotten everything

if you can't find the 1% corrupted block then maybe you could let it grow a little bit so it becomes more visible

Easy and quick strat is just to

Make a small world
Use an existing character with terraformer
Clean infected biomes
Kill Eye of chutulu
Then talk to dyrad

note some improvements: clentaminator + green solution is expensive, id recommend using an ammo box while firing and a discount card when buying it

its one reason why I go with large but theyre still annoying, I dont mind hollow tho. I remember crimson spawning near my area, both sides and once hard mode enter, they did a huge jump and their distance from my area is not long at all. Glad to see vids like this, theyre such a pain to deal with, especially underground

I think it's worth saying that in journey mode you can disable the infection spread which makes it much easier.

Watch out with the terraformer. It's easy to destroy mushroom biomes with the green solution.

The corruption spreads on the walls of the cave as well so pay attentention when you make the tunnels to destroy the walls

for me its super easy and can even be controlled
1. Separate the Corruption from the world, don't do hellevator cause that takes time. instead drink a biomsight potion and start to separate the crimson or corruption from the start using bombs or dynamite

2. Once done, don't delete it completely but instead after deffiting the wall of flesh you then separate also the horizontal infection of hollow and crimson, after doing that you then successfully quarantined the infections.

3. After the quarantine of all bioms you then proceed to upgrading your terraformer and cleans or dont its up to you but remember this, it wont spread no more

I honestly feel like I am going insane slowly. I love this game and I don't know if I will ever be able to completely conquer it as I am not a gamer. But, I will give it my best shot. I really do enjoy the entire time I play this game, and collecting things.

Honestly i want to keep the Hallow, i love it, would have let it spread if it werent for the jungle right next to it

I just used the celebration mk2 with mini nuke 2s and just bombed the whole area 😂
