Thanks! Our blanket is very, very heavy and we could not put it in our machine. We had good success with washing the blanket in the tub (mostly soaking and pushing it around) then using the drying rack on the patio - it did take a few days but it worked well and the blanket was not damaged and we did not risk damaging our machine. It took two of us to lift it, dripping from the tub, and taking it to the patio.
