This coming from an over-privileged "public servant" who has a 24/7/365 protection detail.
In all fairness, if this is her position, she should totally divest herself of her protection detail, and drive herself to and from work, alone, like the rest of us and work in a building with NO security whatsoever - just like you and me.

No restrictions on the 2nd Amendment? In NY? Seriously. Let's just look at NY's restrictions on other arms: pilum ballistic knives, metal knuckle knives, cane swords with concealed blades, throwing stars. Plus It is illegal to possess any knife adapted for use primarily as a weapon, and a switchblade knife requires a valid hunting or fishing license.

Hochul's statement is shocking. But will anyone take away her 1st Amendment "right" to outright lie?

Stop blaming objects for these problems and fix the real problem. People are miserable and have been fed a steady BS diet of "follow your dreams" and "everyone is a winner". Our country is in shambles. The police think they are judge, jury, and executioner. And the two biggest political parties have lost their way and have no idea how to effectively govern.

Let's face it: If everyone in the US only had sticks and stones NY would be trying to ban pebbles and twigs.

On a separate note, The saying you can’t yell fire in a crowded movie theater is outdated and wrong, for one you can yell fire if there is a fire or think there is one, for two that saying comes from another Supreme Court case Schenck v. United States 1919 where they arrested a man for speaking out against the war draft and he claimed it was his first amendment right. The justices said that it wasn’t his first amendment right and could cause panic like yelling fire in a crowded movie theater. That case was overturned in fact it is your right to cause panic if you think it’s necessary to save lives...
