The master cylinder cap screws are not Phillips, They are JIS (Japanese industrial standard). If you use a JIS screwdriver you will almost never round out the screws and not need an impact driver,

Hi! I have a problem rebuilding the Master Cylinder. Inside the reservoir at the bottom where the fill and return hole are located there is a rubber gasket. I take it apart and please inside a container with brake parts cleaner and left it about 5 hours. when I tried to reinstall, I just can it looks like it's to big to insert again in it's place. Te rubber part looks fine but it appears like it wrought and I can't inserta again. Any idea what happen? Thanks!
