after flying home because of covid, isolating while trying to complete all my internal assessments, and many months of waiting, the results are finally in. i hope you guys enjoy this video of me opening my ib results and my live reaction. i hope you got the grades you wanted, but remember this does not determine your worth. success is relative !! don't compare how you did to me or anybody else. they're just grades, they're just numbers xx

** a month after i uploaded, ib revised all may 2020 student's grades and both my english and maths grades went up 1 (+2 points overall:))

congrats! I’m not quite sure about minerva specifically, but for most american universities, they wouldn’t rescind your acceptance for a bad IB score. I go to a school with a horrible ib program (it’s literally just an ego boost and grade inflation for the people in it, which explains how bad it is bc IB should NOT be easy) and we only have 1 or 2 people per year out of 100 get a 24 and earn the diploma yikes..but they still get into great colleges in the US

Congrats and good job!! I was predicted a 7 in VA HL by my teacher and ended up getting a 4 and everyone else in my class got pretty low scores as well so its very nice to see someone who actually did really well 😅 bravo!

Is your IB program just SUPER good or do your teachers help a lot? I go to an IB high school and my chem teacher and the bio teacher both said they’ve never seen a 7 in their 10+ years of teaching. Every single person in my classes got an overall score 1-2 grades lower than the avg of their IA and predicted scores. This year was just sooo wack
