With PlayStation 5 finally here, you might be considering a few of Sony's official accessories to go along with your new console. This time right from day 1, Sony's offering a new headset, controller charging stand, remote, and camera. All of which match the PS5's console design beautifully. Of course, we want function and value too. Today we're gonna review each one, and figure out if they're worth buying alongside your PS5. That's assuming you even have one or intend on getting one. Even some of these accessories are out of stock! Except the HD Camera, that's like.. in stock everywhere. Poor guy.

I think they're all worth owning depending on the gamer. I personally don't need the webcam but the charging dock, headset, and remote are all things I really like and use.

The top 3 accessories I would get will be:

1. A secondary controller (White)
2. A charging dock
3. The 3D Pulse headset for even greater immersion for solo play 3D audio was a feature they hyped up and it will be improved overtime.

My honourable mention is a external storage device either a PS4 external hard drive or when the official PS5 external SSD drive releases I'll just get that.

I can't understand the use of a remote when you already have a competent controller for navigation through the linear UI.

The HD camera I'd have no real use for and I'd doubt I'd get the PSVR II to go with it (they'll make them compatible) and I don't record my gameplay or plan to stream. Solid break down/overview of the accessories.

The DualSense controllers have a good battery life. And that’s using all the haptics and adaptive triggers. As for the console, only loud thing on it is the disc drive when you first turn on the console if there’s a disc in it. Otherwise, it’s very quiet.

You breezed over the best feature (and the selling point to me) for the Pulse headset. That monitor toggle. Being able to more accurately judge my speaking volume is absolutely crucial for late night gaming so that I don't wake up my family. Great insight on the other products though, thank you!
