OMG … I purchased everything you had suggested and WOW. It made a NIGHT and DAY difference. I did a before and after video but I didn’t post it here. But trust me … IT WORKED!! I’m still shocked (I have Billy Joel - Songs in the Attic playing in the background as I’m typing this.) It’s not skipping and I temporarily have my Crosley Cruiser piping through a portable speaker but now I’m going to connect it to my stereo and see how it does. Thanks again!!

Purchased both items as you and received my upgraded needles today and it is truly truly amazing. Thank you for sharing with us. My Crosley player is everything I was hoping for😊😎 All smiles.

Just want to pop back by and say a quick THANK YOU!!! I bought both items and they made a HUGE difference. I can’t thank you enough. I was super frustrated with my turntable before finding this video — thank you for saving my sanity and my turntable’s sound. If you’re on the fence and reading this, just buy them. This less than $20 fix is 100% worth it!

That's good that you found the mat to lift it up some. I am amazed that warped record still plays, that's pretty cool.

I’m so glad you did this video. I have one that needs a needle. I don’t know why I never think to look on Amazon. Appreciate the links! ❤

definitely recommend flattening your warped vinyl with a stool and heavy books! leave the stool and books on top of the record for about two weeks and you should be good. it works every time

Me my sister and our cousin Kechette have the Audio Technica Lp60xbt and we love them . Plus I gave my sister’s best friend Kelly the white Audio Technica Lp60xbt from Urban Outfitters as a birthday present in March and she loves it

I mean this in the nicest way but ceramic is the way the cartridge works it bends a ceramic rod to get voltage. The stylus on that turntable is most probably ruby. But when you get those diamond needles, make sure the tip looks clear. Also make sure the record player goes all the way forward and its not leaning. Enjoy your records!

I hooked up a Fosi BT20A amp with JBL speakers to an Electrohome turntable before I upgraded to an Audio technica and it was great

Replacing the entire cartridge with a Banpa cartridge and stylus would be an improvement. (Found on Amazon)

Is it possible to replace the tonearm rest of a crosley suitcase?

I did enjoy watching your video. I wanted to give you a couple minor corrections for future reference. The jacks in the back are RCA (it actually stands for Radio Corporation of America) jacks and not just RC jacks. Another thing is the needle that comes with it is a sapphire (tip) needle, not a ceramic needle. I think they're good from 50 to 100 hours of playing time. The cartridge is ceramic (in some cases it's called a pick up like in an electric guitar). The diamond tip needle is a definite upgrade. They're good for about 1000 hours of playing. The one thing that I will tell you is if you do ever upgrade, I personally recommend the Audio Technica AT-LP60 with the Mackie CR-3 powered speakers. The Audio Technica turntable ranges in price between 90 dollars for a gently used to about 120 - 150 dollars for a new one. The CR-3 speakers are about 100 dollars. They sound great and the Audio Technica has a switch on it if you want to do a line level out or a phono level out. If you're using the Mackie speakers, you want to choose line level and if you hook it to a receiver with a phono input, then you'll select the switch to phono. The Audio Technica comes with a magnetic cartridge (of course with a diamond tip needle). It looks like that will fit on your record cabinet. I hope this helps you.

I know this video is a year old already but I just came across it. I know you like your Crosley but I think with a small investment you could enjoy your record collection way more. Theres a company called Angel Horn that makes a hifi bluetooth turn table with stereo book shelf speakers for about $230 I think you would love it and get so much more out of your favorite music. Enjoy
