This is my FIRST IMPRESSION of FREDERICTON, NB! I've never been to Fredericton to explore it until now, and in my first 24 HOURS there, is it REALLY CANADA'S MOST BORING CITY? Watch until the end for my final thoughts!

Thank you all so much for the rcent support, the growth has been unparalleled to anything I've ever experienced and I'm so happy you've been enjoying the recent content! I have so much planned for the coming weeks and months, as the semester is almost over and I will be free to film whenever. Thank you for watching, and have safe travels!

Each new video tells me something new about a part of Canada I had hardly heard of before and the quality gets better as you learn what you can do with the equipment. Love the drone shots: are they yours? Also like the way you turned a (n accidental ?) fall on the ice into a smooth address to camera. Brilliant! The pair of you make the ordinary sound very 'exotic' - it's a gift.

One of the things that wasn't mentioned in this video was the skatepark that was built downtown last summer! We had a competition here and we had some a-list skaters come to check it out! I feel like coming here in the winter can be kind of a bust.... also, the Kingsplace mall isn't really "fun" at all 😂 People mainly go there to get on the bus/transfer, and the mall basically consists of offices now, which is why you need a key to go up further on the elevator! Also, other people have already mentioned it but the art gallery is being renovated but it's planning on opening soon, which is exciting! The spot filmed in the library is one of my favourite places to study too! Coming downtown in the summer is a blast... there's so much nightlife and Fredericton is known for its downtown pubs! But when people think of Fredericton, they think of Harvest Jazz and Blues, which should have been mentioned in this video because we do get a lot of tourists during September! Fredericton does have a lot of character, and if you know where to go, it can be a lot of fun - an indoor golf course just opened a few months (maybe a year ago now) and we have a lot of cafes downtown, which are all unique (plus there's the escape room which is located downtown)! This video could have been longer because there is SO MUCH Fredericton in and of itself has a lot of students, and most people who I have talked to, connect Fredericton to UNB and STU! I wish this video featured a tour of campus because it is gorgeous during the summer!

tbh the middle of winter and a time with covid restrictions isn't the best time to gauge if fredericton is boring or not... also didn't check out cafes, farmer's markets, galleries/art scene, parks, shopping, true local cuisine (if you drink alcohol, Fredericton is known for its craft breweries), or anything on the north side, so of course it would appear lacklustre that way! The summer is a much better time to visit.

Breakfast could have been at Sweet Belgian Desire or Claudines, shopping should have happened at the Regent Mall or in the shops downtown instead of Kings Place (that mall is dying), cafes could have included Coffee and Friends, The Muse (coffee and live music), or the Coffee Mill, and other food could have included Milda's pizza, J's Asian Kitchen, the Cultural Market, the Palate, Isaac's Way, the Diplomat, etc. Although they are spread out, we have other activities available besides Kingswood, including escape rooms, axe throwing, cat cafe, Clay Cafe (make your own pottery), catching a show at the Playhouse, and there are lots of nature-related activities like skiing, snowshoeing, hiking/walking on the trails, (but the trails/parks like Odell are more accessible in other seasons and far prettier when the gardens are in bloom). Come back in the summer when restrictions are lessened for weekly markets, music festivals, outdoor patios, watercrafts/sports, biking, ice cream stands, and more

A bit of a correction, Officer Square is always turned into a rink in winter :)

Nice place. I wouldn't call it boring. Yes it's not Vancouver or Toronto but she has her charms. Loved your vlog.

What a trip down memory lane....I graduated from FHS in 2005 and worked at Kingswood for 4 years during my teens. So cool

Coming in the middle of winter amidst Covid is not a fair review. Come here in warmer months like July, August or the second week of September when it's still warm out during Harvest Festival, it was super busy downtown and loads of fun. In the summer we have ebike, e-scooter rentals as well as our aquatic center where you can rent paddle boats and SUPs, loads of hiking trails and floating down the Little Nashwalk and exploring nearby waterfalls. Most people who live here enjoy motor sports and like to be out in the woods.

The elevator in Kingsplace takes you up to the business floors where there's call centers, government offices and so on. It's basically off limits to the general public.

The Beaverbrook Art Gallery is closed for an extensive renovation and expansion. Also, Officers Square (the park at the beginning) is intentionally flooded in the winter for a skating rink 🙂

The ice in the park is intentional; it is a skate park and maintained by the city. Thanks for your video.

The reason you need a card to go on the other floor at kings place is because it’s an office on the other Floors

The upper floors of Kings Place are office space, much of it leased to SNB

Fredricton is actually a really fun place and there’s a lot of stuff to do if you actually live there and experience a whole bunch of fun stuff to do but you have to be there long enough to figure out what all those fun things are if you have a lot of friends there like me You could go to the mall with them you could go for a walk you could go skating you could go to the skate park you can go to the market you can go to the harvest and also many many more also the train bridge that you’re working on at the very start you can go biking on that. In the summertime there’s loads of stuff to do you just need to give it a chance!❤
