M4 Carbine vs HK416 | How They Work

For me, it depends on location. If you live somewhere moist like Michigan (I live in Michigan), then the gas piston HK416 would be recommended. But, if you live somewhere dry like Arizona, then the M4 would be recommended. But overall, I would prefer the HK416 because it has a lower likelihood of blowing up in my face than the M4, but that's due to water getting in the chamber.

Direct impingement basically sucks. Gas-driven piston is the best and most reliable!
