Charity was told by a psychologist that Paris had homicidal tendencies but she insisted on taking him home . She should have gotten him some help.

I realize that this was filmed ages ago, but some of the comments make me sick. The judgement and people telling her what she should or should not have done, so much victim blaming. This lady has lived through so much. She had a traumatic childhood and probably didn't get the best emotional support in her upbringing and to help her after what happened to her father. She was doing the best that she could with what she had to support and love her children. Most of us are just trying our best, life is rarely pretty, perfect and straight forward. We all make mistakes, but the bottom line is Paris CHOSE to do what he did. I bet Charity would turn back time if she could, so the comments are so unnecessary. I hope she has all the support and love she needs, I have so much respect for her. I couldn't have survived all of that.

Paris is getting exactly what he wanted now. His mother's attention on trying to fix things for him...

The reason she didn't disclose her father's murder before is the same reason she later sought her mother's "love" and left GA and moved in with her mother on the Bennet estate (after her mother and Paris filed a lawsuit against her) and why, despite the shifting sands of alianses and subterfuge, they all profess love for each other. This is a very intelligent but mentally ill family.

He also raped his 4 year old sister I’m not sure why that wasn’t part of her description in how he tortured her, the thought that she has another child and Paris is a complete psychopath is scary because he will get out and never have changed. I’m disgusted that on top of all that he raped her also no way would I be able to forgive him. He wanted her to suffer a lifetime she should let him suffer alone for a lifetime.

How does the interviewer "know" for a fact that Charity is an "excellent" mother whenever Charity left her crazy (already diagnosed) 13- yr-old son alone with her 4 -yr-old daughter & another 13-yr-old babysitter? Duh is too duh!

She thinks it’s abnormal for victims groups to want the people to suffer who tortured, raped and killed people they love. Her forgiving her son is the weird way of thinking here.

I feel for, knowing all she knows about her son she's still trying to be a mother to him. I hope for her safety & ours that he's never released.

Why cut out the good part where she is talking about her dad?

Charity failed her child. Watch the documentary “the family I had” this whole family is insane.

Shame on whoever tries to drag this woman down.

I don’t get why the babysitter didn’t call the mom & ask her if she can leave early

Charity should have done more to protect Ella, sorry, but it's the truth.

Charity is a strong, and beautiful woman.
I wish her the very best for her future, she has already been through so much heartache in her life...

In the documentary charity says the doctor diagnosis paris as a quote on quote “sociopath” but in this interview she says the doctor says Paris is a “psychopath”. Completely different mental disorders.Somethings not adding up. And There is other details that she mentions here that she never did on the documentary such as the rape.

In one point Paris told an interviewer that if he had killed Ella that he could have his mother all to himself again. To those who have not seen the documentary Paris actually was not happy when Charity was pregnant with Ella. Paris was internally jealousy that he was going to share his life with a new sibling. Paris also had murderous thoughts about killing.
