For those of who don't know me -- I am a professional ballroom dancer with over 30 years experience in this industry performing, competing in the newcomer, bronze, silver, novice, pre-championship, amateur championship, professional rising star, and championship professional levels. I've been teaching amateur, pro-am, professional, social dance, and competitive dancers since the day I turned pro, plus I owned the largest ballroom dance studio in the country for over 15 years. I've competed pro-am (as the professional in the partnership, dancing with students). I also have had various levels of involvement with a variety of ballroom dance TV shows like Dancing with the Stars, So You Think You Can Dance, and Ballroom Bootcamp.

I wish someone could have explained this to me 30 years ago. It's amazing what a little experience teaches you. ;)

Unless, of course, if, by exception, it would be a renowned teacher that would offer or suggest that. Of course, one should not go with someone whom they don't know of.
