Great list! I started playing Spirit Island last year. It takes some time to learn, and even then feels very complex -- but there is also lots of depth and variation, which can make it really interesting to play. Also has various difficulty levels depending on the scenario/adversary you use (or can avoid using them for base level) -- I would say don't rush to make it harder, play at a level that feels fun and lets you learn how to use Spirits in cool ways. :)
