Moon Knight is a beast one of my 1st comics was Moon Knight and I loved him off the back. He's not Batman. He's way more complex. 😎

For those that dont know, the story about the music box is a refernce to an OLD 70s/80s moon knight story called 'A box of music for savage studs' which is about a young punk caught up in a gang who steals his mother's music box to pawn for money for his gang, to try and get the gang off the of the pawnbroker's back (he wouldnt pay protection money). Its a very good moon knight story that barely involves moonie, I highly reccomend it. This run has a L O T of references to the old comics

It's pretty cool how Both The Shadow and Marvel's "Answer to The Shadow" are both getting TV Shows around the same time. (Apparently Sony is making a The Shadow TV Series sometime after the Doc Savage film).

Cool to see moon knight. Always loved him. Personally, would love to see either the Huston or the classic Moench run. Those are the most Moon Knight out of any of the runs IMO.

Finally some more Moonknight. I personally love the Charlie Huston run where he fights viciously against Taskmaster and did some crazy moves.
Warren Ellis and Jeff Lamire had great runs too. Moon Knight and Punisher teaming up is one of the best team ups in comics .

Back when I was in highschool freshmen year I read the 2015 moon knight storyline and I enjoyed bc moon knight is really interesting character and a little underrated marvel character and I'm glad that he's getting more attention bc he's joining the MCU and I always thought him and Daredevil were the marvel version of batman.

Moon Knight is one of those characters that has to be written well or he's terrible. Dr. Strange, Daredevil, and Captain America are in that list too. In the hands of a good writer they are gold.

Ellis is a damn good writer. In fact Moon Knight has good writers since his return just before the original Civil War, sadly, he got some bad ones after Dark Reign. Bendis did okay. Ellis brought him back to greatness, then subsequent writers made him completely unlikable.

Now he's become a threat to the entire Marvel Universe, the center of a company wide event... and I am completely disinterested. They took all the parts that made him cool and just... forgot about them, and turned him into something far from what the essence of the character should ever have been.

I hope that when he pops up in the MCU, the don't repeat those mistakes.
