How is Moon Knight able to wield Mjolnir? Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 4 has been filled with many little Easter Eggs from the comics. Doctor Doom’s Castle is filled with trophies from various heroes and villains he defeated, there’s a basement dedicated to someone’s love of Iron Man, and many comic covers and panels make up some of the artwork scattered around the island.
But one minor update has a lot of people confused. Moon Knight is now able to wield Mjolnir – an item once locked to just Thor, Jane Foster, or Captain America. A lot of people have been thinking it’s a glitch or a bug. Yet it isn’t.
Moon Knight may not be worthy to lift it, but he has used it in the comics. In Avengers Vol. 8 #33, Moon Knight squares off against and beats nearly every single Avenger. When he goes against Thor, he easily takes the hammer from him. This is because Mjolnir is actually made of Uru metal – an ore made from the first moon in existence. And because Marc Spector is empowered by Konshu, the God of the Moon, of course he can control something that’s essentially made of moon rocks.

There is a line referencing this in Marvel Rivals. If a team has both Thor and Moon Knight, there's a chance a random bit of dialogue will occur where Moon Knight asks Thor if ha could wield Mjonir. Thor responds saying only the worthy may wield it, and Moon Knight remarks that the moon god, Konshu, deemed him worth to be an avatar, so he should be worthy to wield a hammer.

And this is why I love Moon Knight. He's a badass, he can lift Mjolnir and he gave Taskmaster his own personal 9/11.

Alternate theory, with all the voices in his head at least ONE of them is actually worthy.

People need to learn about the goat before they question his abilities

Hopefully moon knight and thor can meet in the mcu one day, I can just see Stephen picking up mjolnir innocently wondering what it is.

I love it when video game developers know their franchise so well

See this a bit terrifying to me as the hammer in the comics isn’t just “you cannot lift it if you are unworthy”, it actually just starts scaling its weight/mass/density exponentially. This produces a similar but distinctly different effect; at one point hulk was able to wield the hammer by scaling faster than the hammer.

If moon knight is wielding the hammer while being unworthy, it’s also infinitely scaling its weight while he does so. And since his control is not based on strength, that’s just a straight power buff

Moon ore is where the metal comes from and he's is able to control anything moonish

It’s essentially the same logic with magneto… he’s not worthy, but he has the power to control metal so therefore he can use Thors hammer as well

Ever imagined how annoying it would be if only one persona within Moon Knight was worthy?

If we’re going by the “he used it in a comic” line then almost anyone can use the hammer, gets passed around like parade candy.

It’s made of Uru, moon rock. He is the fist/avatar of the moon god.
