Serena Williams is the FIRST tennis player to win 23 Grand Slam singles titles in the Open era. "I see these young women, including myself, who are working so hard and training for hours and hours every day just to have the opportunity to go out on the court and play their best. There shouldn’t be any double standard."

What a jagged image we use for women who achieve greatly, defining accomplishment in terms of the barrier rather than the triumph. There she is up where the air is thin, where men still outnumber women, but where the altitude is awesome. Our goal with Firsts is for every woman and girl to find someone whose presence in the highest reaches of success says to her that it is safe to climb, come on up, the view is spectacular.

Its very extraordinary to see a women with such amazing motivation not paying attention at news or media or any different of opinions and just go out there to the Tennis Courts and Be herself, Some say Drugs then Strong Body then some Racism quotes yet even no US tennis legends give her any Support "in REAL" Now only 2 GS Remaining to put the ice on the Cake what we call to haters "Living Legend", Serena williams will go down as the Toughest Champion in History of Tennis Age did not Slow her down Better then Martina navratilova's Grass conquers better then Chris Evert's dominance in Clay better then the might of the Golden Slam of Steffi Garf and the most importent better then the 24 or 62 salms of Margaret court, its at least we have never hear ppl talking about Who's better then Who From men's game and Wemon's game Between Serena and Rogor so have to give that Credit for that.
Finally Want to Say Keep going Serena till the last breath i have the honor and privilege to see your career since 1998 and Now only a Final Chapter for its is TWo GS one in AO or SW19 the 25 will be History in the US open where you have won your first GS just like Rogor won in Wimbledon 2003 and finish his journey in 2017 good luck.

Robbie Agnew, women have been underpaid in just about every industry for doing the same or even more in some cases, so I think they should be paid the same as the men.
Afterall the womens game has just as much support as the men and in some cases their games outsells the men's.

Lol when a woman is more of a monster phisically than a man somwthing is going wrong here

I think women should play best of 5 sets. Then they would deserve equal prize money. Only having to win 2 sets instead of 3 means that women play less tennis than men, so why should they be paid the same amount. Equal work for equal pay.

It's not a double standard if the men play longer hours and longer sets "by mandate". The men should be paid more and it's selfish and sexist for women to think they deserve equal prize money for less work.

I love Serena, but until the women play best of 5 sets at Majors, I do not feel that they deserve equal pay, at the Majors atleast. That is a lot more to aak from the body physically. Every other tournament however, equal play, equal pay!
