For so many Red Belts to come in and give Rickson the honor is truly beautiful. I cry and roll in the honor of the family and for Jiu-jitsu.

Jiu jitsu guys give the best hugs. 😂 and wrestlers. There’s a gentleness to it you only understand when your in there. Men who know how delicate we are and train to take advantage of those delicacies treat others so kind in their daily life.

Rickson is a great man. Obviously he deserves the red belt from what he had accomplished and how much contribution he had toward the jiu-jitsu community, but from what he said he about wanting to be fair and held to the same standard as anyone else just to be fair; and didn't want to accept his red belt until it's his time; this really shows the character of a man.
