Wifi Car From Cheap Toy Using a Raspberry Pi Zero 2?

Let's turn this cheap RC car into a fully functional wifi controlled car, using a raspberry pi zero 2 w, a motor controller, and some state-of-the-art beginner soldering! As usual, I have little to no idea what I'm doing, so this is going to be an experiment, but I'm positive!

A DIY wifi car has always been on my todo-list, and now with the winter approaching, I thought it would be a perfect time to kick off this project! Looking forward to seeing how it develops, and if I can make any kind of modifications going forward, maybe adding a cam (camera), more battery life, try a different RPi perhaps, the possibilities are endless (kinda)!

Anyway, this is going to be a series, so make sure to stick around to see how my wifi car turns out. If I succeed I'm planning on upgrading it to a more robust wifi car with better range and battery power. Stay tuned! :)

Couldn't find the link to the Zero 2, but here's Zero 1 which is also wireless and should do the trick just fine :)

I respect that this was the length it was, thank you. Very cool

I’m sure the soldering will go fine. Just don’t touch the hot end. That’s all you need to know. 😎

Very misleading thumbnail, intro and title. I learned nothing from this video.
