Marine Combat Veteran here. I haven't taken a sick day in over 7 years. Love this song! Had cancer, went to work every damn day through chemo and radiation. Got sick, wiped my chin and got after it.

Trucker here. People like myself keep this country supplied, fed, clothed, just to name a few. This song is our anthem, meanwhile the celebs preach from their gated communities about how we should live. They don’t have a clue what we do. Keep on keeping on fellow Drinking class members

I heard Lee Brice say on the radio that there were no actors in the music video. Makes me like this song 10x more! Awesome song!

Proud Longshoreman here! I feel this song, 12 hour days rain or shine, 7 days a week so long as the ships keep coming

This song holds a very special place in my heart. My grandfather was a very influential man in my life he taught me some of the most important lessons I will ever learn. although he never had much he always found a way to provide for his family and he was always there to lend a helping hand to a friend or stranger. He passed away November 11, 2014. Instead of funeral he wanted of party celebrate the life he lived. So that's what we did we threw a huge party and invited everybody he knew. Not everybody could make it but he still had over 300 people come to say goodbye and have a drink for him. I remember hearing this song for the first time exactly one week before he passed away. My first thought when I heard this song was that it sounded exactly like my grandfather and when I had to make the slideshow for his party I knew exactly what song had to be on there. Everytime I hear this song it makes me think of him but I'm not sad I'm actually happy because I know he lived his life the way he wanted to live it and he touched so many people in his life and was loved by so many that I can only wish my life will be half as good as his

Finally someone who writes about the blue collar workers of our society. I will never work a white collar job and will work till I can't work no more.

30 year old guy here with 4 kids and a stay at home wife, steel worker that swings all 3 shifts, this song is my motivation knowing that there are others like me. This song came out when I was 24 25 years old welding in a small shop we used to blast it in the shop, still applies today as still a member of the drinking class #bluecollar

Mechanic for 19+ years. Thank you, Lee for this song. Been listening to it since it came out and thank you to all the other blue collar workers out here who keep this country moving. This is a song for all us real workers in America that make shit happen!

Restaurant worker here.! I know it’s not a big deal but working in the restaurant industry is very hard and successful on the same token. Going to work at 8am and staying till 8pm is the shift. Then gotta get up and do it all over again the next day! Thank you to everyone who works hard every day like me! Keep going!!

I just realized that SO many of the country songs I love the best are by this guy. The one I hear on radio every once in a while is "Memory I Don't Mess With"--and so I decided to look up other songs. Just WOW-underrated.
