Salvation Past, Present, and Future
Показать описание
The Bible describes for us three different tenses of salvation, which are past, present and future and each of these refer to a different part of man's make-up which are spirit, soul, and body.
Salvation past refers to the spirit of man. The believers spirit is made alive the very second he or she believes the Gospel in how Christ died for our sins and rose again the third day. This person is eternally secure in Christ and can never lose their salvation since they have been sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Salvation present refers to the soul of man. The believers soul is being saved as he or she submits to God's Word via the Holy Spirit. In other words, the believer who knows, reckons and yields to God's Word via the Holy Spirit as seen in Rom. 6: 6,11,13, is being sanctified in this present age of grace and will stand unashamed before the Lord Jesus at the Bema Seat with some type of reward(s) to their credit.
Salvation future refers to the body of man. The believers body will one day be glorified which will take place at the resurrection or rapture of the Church.
