Was fortunate enough to meet the whole band backstage and asked Beggsy about this track playing the closing version sat down, he just wanted everyone to see the contribution from Garry O'Toole and didn't want to get in the way for everyone seeing how each member contributed towards this.

This is one of the most impressive, emotional and heaviest songs I've ever heard in my 68 years of life. Genesis has been part of my life since 1972 and will continue until the end of it. Congratulations Steve Hacket and great band.

I've had the pleasure of seeing Hackett several times over the last few years, he & the band are always amazing. When they did this to close the first half of the show, the audience, to a person, was thrust into another dimension...

Once in a lifetime. Starting at 5:30 or so ... nothing is better - and I really listen to a lot of music. THIS IS IT. I really mean it.

Il finale più maestoso, angosciante, geniale, superbo, incredibile della storia del rock!!!!

I saw him play this last Saturday at Center Stage in Atlanta. I wasn't expecting much from the show. I walked in and people were giving away tickets. I found my area and took an open seat and Steve broke into this song. As the song progressed I suddenly realized I was witnessing Steve and the band transcending us into another dimension. Then the song kept building and building into a chaotic beauty. Steve ended the set and me and the people around me in the crowd just kind of sat there in wow. Of course the 2nd set was all of FoxTrot. He is such an amazing guitarist and understands tone and how to make each note resonate. No wonder that Alex Lifeson has said he was such a tremendous influence.

No other musical artist sends chills over my body quite like the music of Steve Hackett.
Especially, this song.
Amanda’s voice is heavenly.

And seeing her with that red guitar is just the best.

Steve Hackett truly understands when to step out of the spotlight and let his fellow musicians play their part, and when to do what he does best.

That's a fantastic version. And the drums? I've been a musician for 40 years.. and that has to be some of the best drumming I have *ever* heard.

This was one of the loudest experiences I've had at any concert...doesn't come across on YT but when Nick Beggs is pounding those pedals it feels like your body might explode at any moment. Awesome.
