Convert Power Platform MANAGED solution export to UNMANAGED

Let's say you lost a solution on Power Platform that includes PowerApps and Power Automate. All you have is a MANAGED export on your hard drive that even if you import it to your environment, it is not editable. I would like to know if this same scenario is changed a little and if we do not have the zip file just the managed deployed solution and the environment access, can we still get some sort of unmanaged file ? seems not possible, just asking if there is some way. Thanks

Is there a way to take a backup of the managed solution? I need to do some edits in the model driven app and that information is only on the live environment on the dev. The solution is in use and a client registered himself on the portal but asking to make a few change.

Before making any edits I wanted to take a backup but found out there is no way to export a managed solution. So, what would you advise?

Hello Ali,

I exported the solution as managed and again imported it as managed. Now I am not able to convert it back to unmanaged. I also tried creating a new solution, but the unmanaged components still display as a part of the managed; hence, I cannot do any customization. Can you please help me with this?

Hi Alireza, on this sequence of the video, the popup shows that all the objects in the unmanaged solution will not be deleted. but the solution will be deleted.
The solution layers on these Objects inside this unmanaged solution will be changed of course. But the elements will not be deleted.
