What a load of Crap! I wouldn’t have talked about this behind closed doors either. This is something ALL those men needed to hear. My pastor would have stopped that performance immediately. Not to mention, they were there to be strengthened as men. How the hell does watching another man undress edify that at all? Matthew 18 refers to Old Testament law which is if a man wrongs his friend. That kind of show wronged a lot more than one man and it was done publicly. This wasn’t one man v one man incident, it was brought into the public square as an event. When it is made publicly, you can rebuke it publicly (happens in the New Testament all the time)

This was not an offense between two men. This was no different than Paul calling out the church of Galatia, publicly. This was a public event, with a serious issue. Where were the MEN in the church who should have walked out of the performance and never come back? It didn’t have to be another pastor- any Christian in that room has the authority to rebuke that in Jesus name.

I’m sorry but where did the offense take place? Oh yeah publicly on stage in the midst of believers or some who were there to learn that are early on in their faith. I think the reproof of that offense is completely justified to be done in the same manner. In the same way Christ overturned tables. The reproof happens privately when a fellow believer is struggling with certain things privately. This context fits more with correcting the people corrupting the temple. Public display of mockery should be corrected publicly as well.

It's time for pastors ministers preachers to stop sugar, coating the word of God and tell people straightforward the truth!! Their soul is on the line!
