I think I’ll always prefer the acoustic version of this song. I love the textures added in the official version, but when I hear the live version it makes me wonder if this is what it would sound like to receive this song. Like you can imagine this is how she’d “give this song” to her soulmate one day and I just love that so much lol

This song is easily my favorite Laufey song. I love how in this version Laufey's voice is a little bit more laid-back and raw, probably recorded live. Love it!

These are even better than I was expecting 😃. Gosh they're are all so magical. I wish more artist would do acoustic versions of there songs. Idk why they don't. I prefer the acoustic versions over the produced versions better. Nothing beats the intimacy you feel from the acoustic resonance of performances like these. Not say produced music isn't great but acoustic always wins in my eyes.
