Of all of your songs I’ve listened to, this song hits the hardest. I’ve had a difficult go of things for the past seven years since my ex and I broke up. I thought she was my soul mate but it was not in our stars. Now I’ve fallen on hard times juggling my mental health issues, including anxiety and ptsd along with a pending eviction. My life has fallen apart without my ex and I’ve struggled to put the pieces back together. I was a much better person when I was loved. A life with out love has left me a broken man feeling empty inside with no hope at finding love until I heard your song.
When I first listened to this one, It struck hard and moved me to tears. A rush of warmth and love flooded within me. And all those emotions enveloped me encouraging me not to feel sorrow for my past for what I’ve lost but to hold on and look ahead with a new found belief; that a chance at love is still out there somewhere waiting to be found.
