I’ve heard that Sam Raimi didn’t want to do Venom in the first place, but some higher ups made him do it. Kinda surprised he came up with such a Raimi-ish scene for a character he didn’t like, only for it to get rejected.

It really would have been nice if Penny and the mom were there to hear how Peter forgave Sandman for how he accidentally killed Uncle Ben. Plus, it would've been the first time the mom would hear the truth about Ben's death being an accident since earlier in the film she thought it was intentional but Flint explained how it wasn't like that.

If they felt obligated to kill venom then the symbiote spitting out Brocks skeleton wouldve been metal as fuck. Itd also further show that Peter dodged a bullet.

The only thing that should’ve been removed from the ending is New Goblin / Harry Osborn's death.

I understand he faced the same fate as his father, but it looked in a way where it made Osborn look stupid.

Osborn could’ve just tackled Venom or slice him in half with his sword. But jumping in harm's way to get himself killed?!
