KVM is able to pretend being Microsoft Hypervisor (Hyper-V) for a long time but it never implemented the full set of features. There are two concurrent processes: more features get implemented in KVM and new Hyper-V versions are developed by Microsoft which usually bring new PV mechanisms. How are we doing in 2022? What's new in Hyper-V emulation and what's currently missing? How KVM and Hyper-V collaborate in nested scenarios? Can some of these features come handy for other KVM deployments when Windows is not in the picture?
