I'd choose the 2015 MacBook Pro for the keyboard and the ports and the 2017 MacBook Pro for the speed and design.

I honestly believe both laptops are great. Grant the 15inch is older but it's pretty good and will last a very long. The 13inch is great cause of thunderbolt 3, you can basically turn into a strong desktop
