What the WNBA is reluctant and too petty to admit is that CC is setting a new standard of play, to which the current players are failing to achieve. Most of the league are resentful that this superstar has pulled the rug out from under them and they're looking pathetic as a result. Rather than accept it as a challenge to up their game, they would rather revert to petty jealousy and trash talk about a player that is dominating and has brought new wealth to a league about which no one cared until CC arrived..
