Put a * next to Taurasi's 6th gold medal as it was a handout, she's old, didn't deserve the Olympics slot, didn't earn the gold, and her horrible olympics stats reflect why she shouldn't have been there.

CC is leading the WNBA in assists and efficiency, leads all rookies with PPG, APH, SPG, 3PM, FGM, and FT%, all showing she should have been there.

She brought this on herself - she started off by bad mouthing Caitlin at the beginning of the season - then she got selfish and stayed at the ball one dance too long. Her career is truly magnificent but the end game was mismanaged. Reeves was not her friend on this. In fact she was used by Reeves so that the senior decision makers who made the mistake could continue their game of spite. They could have fixed this by bringing Caitlin in as an injury replacement and her replacement could have led to a positive celebration. But, the decision makers were too stubborn.

I suspect Dinosaur is retiring this year. If she wasn't planning on it, she should now. I feel like going to every game of hers and throwing plastic gold medals at her. The whole WNBA /USA cabal was intent on giving the old goat ( notice no capital letters) her 6 th medal and more importantly keep CC from having any chance of equaling that number of Olympic medals ( which I don't think she had any intention of trying to do). As if they knew that CC is likely to break all of Dinos records and then some. They were too embarrassed and ashamed of their behavior, so they came up with one lie after another. Their house of cards collapsed in a heap of rubble. We had to pick the team early, only the best, we don't take rookies, load up the Fever with the toughest schedule possible so she did not look very good, have Sides sabotage CC as many ways as possible, the WNBA has been growing for years, Engelbert saying CC was a surprise. The whole corrupt scheme just shows the world how disgusting the WNBA is. How asinine to have the audacity to claim that the fans would not like it if CC was on the team and not get enough playing time ? Really ?? How did giving one total BS reason after another why you did not pick CC to be on TEAM USA work out for you ? They are all dumber than a sack of hammers.

Diana Taurasi was a starter and did nothing in the games she played and she gets a Gold Medal LOOKS AT HER STATS and its being pushed a Record 6th Gold Medal. She did nothing to earn this Gold Medal. I don't play basketball can I have gold Medal??? She is an old fart and needs to retire should have let Caitlin Clark play would have done 100x better. Lastly, if Taurasi was a bench warmer, I would understand why she got a gold medal.
