House Atreides (Suite) | Dune: Part Two (OST) by Hans Zimmer

The relationship between Paul and Chani is the very heart of "Dune: Part Two", according to Denis Villeneuve, it's the main drive of the characters and the crucial element that allows the audience to empathize with the protagonists and be emotionally invested in story. Paul and Chani's love story in this movie is powerful and tragic, showing how Paul did find a place we to belong after loosing everything, and yet by the end he is forced to take a path that leads his to become an anti-hero figure and turn away from Chani.
Hans Zimmer masterfully reprised his theme from House Atreides and transforms into a magnificent love theme for Paul and Chani, thanks with the execution of the Armenian duduk instrument playing the main motif. This melody resonates incredibly well with the visuals and the scenes of Paul and Chani together, creating an unforgettable music of endless beauty and dramatic power. For this suite, I mixed together the old and new variations of the House Atreides theme, which sort of plays as a main movie theme for "Dune: Part Two".

I liked the House Atreides theme in Part 1, but here in Part 2 it was magical for me, now it is one of my favorites made by Zimmer, it works great to complement the romantic scenes of Paul and Chani, it is so calm and at the same time so epic, and at the end of this movie and the credits it was... Art, Glorious, Perfect, and all the positive terms I can give it

I rewatched Dune Part Two (for the third time), and I still felt the same the same majesty I had at the end of every viewing, so remained still and silent in reverent awe of this film...

Then the twelve year old right next shouted for the whole theater "Well that sucked."

I've never had such difficulty resisting the urge to publically slap someone more than that moment. 😅
