Camping & Firebox Stove Cooking Capitol Reef National Park New Cast Iron 5-WAY Fryer Basket Pie!

This camping trip came at a perfect time. I was really
needing to "relax and let go," at least a little bit. This trip hit
the spot perfectly. Capitol Reef is such a peaceful place. It's easy to let
yourself get lost in its beauty. Before you know it, you're feeling recharged
and ready for “what’s next?”

Balance is often more prevalent than what is easily realized...it's often
found in the finer details that many of us unknowingly miss or even at times
choose to ignore. Or maybe we get lost in the details and miss the big picture?
Lol, I clearly don't know anything. I guess it just depends...

My wife Jessica loves the desert! She loves and has passion
for the little details of how everything has adapted so beautifully to survive
and even thrive in such harsh conditions…both individually and synergistically.

Nature is beautiful enough to just look at, to admire
from distance. Now take a closer look, get down right scientific and you'll see
such perfect elegance, never more complicated than necessary yet amazingly
efficient.

I'm a mountain, forest kind of guy. While I don't study it like
Jessica does, I do appreciate it deeply. Nature has developed such a powerful presence...
I guess from being, through such an incredible span of time, existing for so
long that we can't even begin to perceive or relate. When I'm deep in the
forest I feel like a speck of dust that's just lucky enough to have any part of
it at all. Between the two of us we find balance not because we see things the
same way rather because we appreciate things so differently.

In this video I'm testing some of the new accessories we've developed for our latest camp cooking innovation, Firebox 5-WAY Cast Iron Cookware.

Great video as usual! I like to make fried donuts with cheap canned biscuits. Heat oil to low frying temp and open canned biscuits. remove a biscuit and make a hole in the center by simply squeezing the center with your index finger and thumb. drop the biscuit into the hot oil until golden brown, turning as necessary to keep from burning on one side or the other. remove from the oil after done. Cheap fast glaze is powdered sugar and whole milk (or heavy cream). start with 1/2 cup of powdered sugar and a tiny bit of whole milk. mix with a fork as it will help break up any lumps of sugar. Keep adding milk (or cream) until the mixture is as thin or thick as you want it. Place donut in the mixture and flip it over to get both sides glazed. These are GREAT at any camp and are always gobbled up by everyone!

Loved the deep frypan design. Added to wishlist. Knife looks good to me. Securing it with a string gives another layer of safety and stability while operating. Ball-end is amazing idea.
