🔶The Putorana Plateau is a grandiose mountain range, representing a huge territory almost untouched by man, which is called "the edge of ten thousand lakes and a thousand waterfalls." The sight of all the incredible beauty of the plateau is breathtaking — the mountains here have no peaks, and the canyons have bottoms, lakes stretch for many kilometers, rivers fall from the rocks, forming the most amazing waterfalls.

🔶The Putorana Plateau was included in the World Heritage List in 2010.

🔶The Putoransky Nature Reserve, which was established here in 1988 and has been one of the largest in all of Russia since then, is located on a significant territory of the plateau. The area of the Putorana plateau is 250 thousand km2. The nearest major settlement is the city of Norilsk.
