Показать описание
Welcome to Grace Unlimited Church Online.
DEEPER IN GRACE (S2 Part-6): "Grace or Disgrace?"
Ps. Geraldine Celi
September 8, 2024
ROMANS 5:20 NIV
"The law was brought in so that the trespass might increase. But where sin increased, grace increased all the more"
Does this verse means that we should sin more so that grace may increase all the more? Definitely a big NO!
Any teaching of “grace” that encourages people to sin more and continue sinning is not grace, but a disgrace. Apostle Paul anticipated this controversy through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, he already addressed this in the next chapter.
ROMANS 6:1-2 NIV
1 What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2 By no means! We are those who have died to sin; how can we live in it any longer?
The Apostle Paul strongly argues that a true recipient of the grace of God cannot continue in sin or live in it any longer. Join us as Ps. Geraldine explains more about this controversy.
THE BIG IDEA: "In Christ, by His grace I can stop sinning"
Thank you for joining us! We can't wait to worship with you next week!
