Simple yet very effective demonstration. This can be used to explain bernoullis equation pretty well including the hydrostatic pressure aspect.

Really cool demonstration. Loved how it was right to the point..

Slow moving air will have more Due to Bernoulli principal ❤

Did the water move on that side merely due to more pressure in the larger diameter tube, or was it also due the lack of resistance which the water met in exiting out of the smaller diameter tube, creating a partial vacuum on that side?

Good demonstration,
Would the same thing happen if you introduced air pressure from the smaller tube?

Ok so I understand the Bernoulli principle. But I don’t understand HOW or WHY it’s a thing. Can anyone explain to me how something that’s moving faster has less pressure than something moving slower???? It seems counterintuitive

What if you push the air in through the smaller tube

Do something to increase the visibility of the set-up

the restriction causes a drop in local pressure near the secondary side where as the primary side is already higher pressure from the pump, this is a great followup to the coanda effect video
can you make a video on the magnus effect now?

make the color water more contrast/vibrant. I hardly see the color as a color blind person..overall is great

Visibility of glass items is nearly 20%. Not clear.

Could’ve used a bit more food coloring…

😒 you are just partially closing the tube...its so obvious...what's the point in this anyway???

If I not wrong the real one use mercury manometer

Yeah I'm not comvinced. This is the common sense effect.
